We have full control for this product throughout the entire process. We choose a variety of wheat based on feedback we have received from customers over years and years. Unlike many other varieties of wheat, which have the characteristic for baking or milling, we plant and sell varieties that excel as wheatgrass. Whether it be color, taste, germination, or lifespan this plant was grown with wheatgrass in mind.
Dedication
We have dedicated more then 1,000 acres on our farm to the wheatgrass industry.
Crop Rotation
We follow crop rotations that allow for clean and healthy seeds.
Seed Purity
Once harvested this seed is kept in its own storage and most importantly NOT MIXED.
Many wheatgrass seed supplies receive seed from several farmers or local elevators. By avoiding this we can guarantee you are receiving a uniform product throughout the entire year. Our customers have told us time and time again that having access to the identical product year round is one of the most important services we offer.
From Harvest to You
Once harvested our product is stored, cleaned, packaged and made ready to ship all from our warehouse on farm. Generally we can have an order ready to ship within 5 business days from our farm warehouse. We have a long list of trucking companies we work with and see regularly on farm.
